Now My Story:

Wow! I was truly given the "Golden Egg" of opportunity! I never thought I would be a National Vice President with Arbonne International. When I was introduced to Arbonne, I merely signed on for the amazing skin care and the Consultant discount. The thought of doing Arbonne as a business was never a consideration; and even more remote was the idea of getting to the top of such a prestigious company. So, imagine how far you could go, if you would simply just give the opportunity a chance.

I never really wanted to do Arbonne as a business. Of course, in the back of my mind, I entertained the notion of having the potential for financial freedom and driving a Mercedes-Benz convertible. But, I truly did not have any idea what network marketing was about, and I certainly did not have the self-confidence to ?sell? anything, regardless of what it was. Even the thought of doing Presentations made me nauseous. I remember thinking to myself, ?What if someone asks me a question and I did not know the answer?? How could I just say, ?I do not know!? But you know what, I decided for myself, ?Yes, I can and will do this business.? All I needed was for my husband and my upline, ENVP Valerie Edwards, to hold my hand and give me the encouragement and support I needed do make it work. Val helped me with my first few Presentations and then I was on my own. In learning to fly solo, I discovered it was okay to say to a Client, ?I am not sure on that, but I will find out the best answer for you.? My friends and their friends knew I was just starting a new business and they made it okay not to know everything. I would rather say, ?I don?t know,? than to give them the wrong information. It is all a learning process. You do not have to know and memorize everything to be successful at this business. I am proud to be a testament of that fact.

Back in September of 2003, when I signed on to be a Consultant in order to purchase product at a discount, I had been a stay-at-home mom for six years to two of the most beautiful daughters in the world, Victoria, 6, and Claudia, 4. At the time, I was also seven months pregnant with twin baby boys. My wonderful husband, Jarrett, had a great job and was a very successful salesman. But, he was constantly stressed, working 80 hours a week to provide a good life for our family.

In 2000, we were able to purchase our second home on an acreage of land. Little did we know that our lifestyle was about to change drastically because of September 11. When that tragedy hit, it was very hard on our family, along with many others around the country. The economy was falling and so was my husband?s salary. Jarrett was a straight commission salesman and his pay dropped tremendously. Having to deal with a bigger mortgage on our new home of just 20 months, then being faced with the thought of giving up a lifestyle we were accustomed to, was a difficult and frustrating time! That is why you should never take anything for granted.

We kept getting deeper and deeper into debt. Jarrett and I would pray that our financial situation would soon get better. Even though it took two years and two children later, God certainly had a plan for us. Little did I know it would turn out this wonderful!

Arbonne has truly been a blessing to our family. It was so nice to know I would have the potential to earn paychecks from Arbonne each month, knowing it was taking huge stress off of Jarrett. We had moved to Nebraska 12 years ago, right after Jarrett graduated college. Now, because we have been blessed with Arbonne, Jarrett was able to resign from his sales position and is currently building his own business with Arbonne. He loves this company and the products! We are moving back to our hometown so that our children can be closer to their grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. This is such an exciting time for me and my family. I got to select my very own Mercedes-Benz in March of 2005, after participating in the Mercedes-Benz Cash Bonus Program, and then seven months later, I promoted to NVP. I still cannot believe it! It is so awesome. I still wake up each morning and pinch myself just to make sure that I am not dreaming. And let me tell you, it is so real, yet so incredible!

This business is all about teamwork. Remember, the concept of a T.E.A.M. is that ?Together Everyone Achieves More.? We all have our ups and downs. That is what life is all about. Fortunately, you are never alone. You can always count on someone on your team to lean on when you stumble. That is the amazing thing about Arbonne. Although you are in business for yourself, you are not in business by yourself.

I would just like to say that if I can do it, then you can, too. You have what it takes to do this business, you just have to be willing to do it. Get rid of that ?stickin? thinkin,?? and believe in yourself. If you do, you will soar higher than you ever envisioned. Start off by asking yourself a few questions like, ?Where do you see yourself in one year? How about in five? Do you want to be your own boss? Do you want to be debt-free? Do you want time freedom?? It is such an awesome feeling to have people who are dear to your heart on your team and witness their dreams come true. This journey is so incredible and it keeps getting better each day. To ENVP Lynn Hagedorn: You were my first Ace. I am truly blessed by the determination you have had since day one with Arbonne. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to your team.

To my best friend, ERVP Alison Hamilton: Wow! I am so excited, proud and thankful we made it together! I am so grateful for your friendship. I love you.

To RVP Rebecca Meara and RVP Lori Funk: You both are incredible leaders and I am so proud of you.

To AM Hilary Neary: You are so awesome. I am so glad you are in my life. I cannot wait to give you those keys to that white, Mercedes-Benz.
